PTC Team Tennis

​

• Team Tennis is played with teams of 4 players: 2 men and 2 women per team.

• 5 sets are played, one of each of the following: Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

• Sets are first to 5 games won, at 4:4, a 9-point tie break is played (first to 5 points).

• Games are no-ad scoring and lets are played.

• Scoring is based on cumulative games won. Team with the highest points (won games) at the end of the match takes the match.

• It’s not over until it’s over: If the trailing team in points wins the 5th set, this triggers 
  Overtime Play, in which the trailing team has an opportunity to tie the leader's overall score to trigger a Supertiebreaker (a 13-point tiebreaker: first to 7 points), or the leading team wins one game to take the match.
